Roleplay TermsRP - Roleplay
IC - Short for In-Character, this is anything you say or do in roleplay.
OOC - Short for Out-Of-Character, this is anything you say using the /ooc or /looc commands.
NLR - New Life Rule; when you die you forget what has happened in the previous event before your death, if you get kidnapped by a faction and they kill you in the end you cannot tell your buddy’s when you respawn (doesn’t matter if the kidnap lasted 5 minutes or 2 hours).
NLR - You may not return to your area of death, or your killer's area, if you died until 3 minutes have passed
RDM - Random deathmatch, your character needs to have a rule-friendly reason why he attacks someone.
Meta-Gaming - Using information that your character could not have acquired IC, for example when someone says it in a steam message.
Power-Gaming: Forcing your actions upon someone else without giving them a chance to react, for example if you want to cuff someone you need to give them a chance to hesitate. To come to a fair agreement you can use /roll, the highest roll wins. After that you cannot simply repeat your emote, the winning party may chose the course of the roleplay.
Fail-RP - Breaking the roleplay scenario, or otherwise doing something your character would not be able to do. For example, Someone singing a rap song from 2016 IC, someone talking about real life occurences e.g. Donald Trump and such
Bunny Hopping - Tapping the "jump" button while running around to reduce traction and gain speed while moving. In real life, this would be skipping around.
Void - When something in roleplay happened that you didn’t intent for example you break a rule on accident or you say something that was meant to be OOC, when you say “VOID THAT” and the others agree then whatever has been said is now OOC and not IC anymore. (don’t annoy people by constantly saying this, it’s only meant for mistakes OTHERS MUST AGREE).
Down Time - When the server has 7 or less players
OOC LINE - A warning to all players to get back in-character. Expect to see this when there's excessive OOC conversing and no roleplay is taking place this is most
commonly used when people are arguing
